Advocacy Through Industry

Advocacy Through Industry

The idea of Advocacy Through Industry first came into my purview about a decade ago when listening to one of my peers and close friends Shea Parton describe it in relation to his business Apolis. The model is a revolutionary way to harness the power of business to create social change. In other words, by creating responsible industries, you create opportunities for people and communities to thrive in responsible pursuits.

This idea is central to everything we do at VNTNA. We are building our company with responsible supply chains, hiring within the community, and giving back to the place that inspired this pursuit. Environmentalism is one of our core values, and we are committed to minimizing our impact on earth.

One of the ways we're doing this is through our participation with 1% For The Planet. This organization was founded on the idea that a company has a responsibility to give back for the use of our planet’s resources. We happen to agree wholeheartedly, and we have pledged to give 1% of our top-line sales through this partnership to two local foundations. We will split our donation equally between The Big Sur Land Trust & The Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary Foundation

If you'd like to learn more about their mission and the great work they both do, follow the links below.

Thank you for your support!
